Total Highway Maintenance, LLC is actively recruiting Professional Class A Truck Drivers. Drives truck with capacity of more than 3 tons, to transport materials to and from specified destinations, by performing the following duties:

  • Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.

  • Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.

  • Loads and unloads truck.

  • Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.

  • Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit.

  • Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets.

  • Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.

  • Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.

  • Must meet all physical qualification standards imposed by regulation for drivers.

  • Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.

  • Must be able to work overtime if necessary.

  • Some overnight stay required and/or up to and exceeding 50% travel on a monthly basis.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Driver Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL and registered medical card
